Fifteen finalists pitched their breakthrough idea for the chance to receive a $2.5 million award.
Finalists had just 10 minutes to make their closing pitch and show why their proposal should become one of the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge's six winners.
In the Breakthrough Challenge’s culminating event, each finalist gave a short 10-minute virtual presentation on their breakthrough idea to a panel of judges comprised of national affordable housing and community development experts. A 10-minute Q&A followed.
Judges heard five pitches in each of the challenge’s three focus areas – Housing Construction, Housing Finance, and Resident Services and Support.
The virtual pitch competition was livestreamed to an invite-only audience.
The invited panel of seasoned judges represents a group of remarkable leaders. We are grateful to each of them for lending their valuable time and vision to this decisive event for the Housing Affordability Breakthrough Challenge.
